Personal Cybersecurity Services for Individuals and Families

Personal cybersecurity services for individuals and families. Confidential forensic help for a hacked account, stalkerware, identity theft, or online scam.

Start with what is happening

This is the home for our personal cybersecurity services, forensic-grade personal cyber security help for individuals and families, handled one incident at a time. Something is wrong and you need a straight answer fast. Tell us what is happening in your own words. Say my account was hacked, I think there is spyware on my phone, someone is tracking me, I was scammed, my identity was stolen, and we point you to the right help. The first call is free and clinical: if a simpler step fixes it, we say so; if forensic work is the right answer, we tell you exactly what it involves before you commit.

Engagements are confidential and structured to begin within 48 hours of the consultation.

Some service tracks are offered at a fixed fee; complex investigations are billed hourly with a clear scope, milestone updates, and a cap agreed up front.

Quinn (Founder and CEO) oversees every engagement and reviews every case before findings leave the practice; the practitioner team executes the technical work under her methodology.

Beyond the paths above, we also help with personal cyber insurance coordination; when a matter needs licensed field work, we use a licensed private investigator referral. For a divorce or custody matter, we can perform a forensic phone extraction for divorce and custody, and coordinate directly with your attorney through our forensic services for law firms. Engagement options and fees are on pricing.

Do you work like a personal cyber security consultant or a monitoring company?

Most people searching for a personal cyber security consultant, or comparing personal cybersecurity companies, are already one incident deep: an account is compromised, a phone feels watched, money moved.

They want a named expert, not a ticket queue. That is how this practice is built.

Quinn reviews every case personally, and the work is forensic examination. That means write-blocked device imaging, artifact and timeline analysis, and a documented chain of custody, not a monitoring subscription watching a breach database.

When a matter genuinely needs a larger team or a monitoring product instead, we say so on the free first call rather than taking the engagement.

What this means for you

How an engagement begins

  1. Confidential consultation. NDA-protected. 30-60 minutes. Direct conversation, no sales process.
  2. Scoped engagement. Written proposal with defined deliverables and pricing, fixed fee where it applies, hourly with milestone caps for open-ended investigations.
  3. Investigation and findings. Court-admissible standards. Written report you can act on.

Frequently asked by individuals

What kinds of situations do you help individuals with?
Account compromise (email, iCloud, Google, banking), stalkerware on phones or laptops, AirTag and physical-tracker detection, identity theft, romance scam investigation and recovery, divorce-related digital forensics, custody case digital evidence, harassment and cyberstalking documentation, privacy services and data-broker removal, business-email-compromise on small businesses, and forensic phone extraction for civil cases. If your situation is digital and harmful, it's likely within scope. The first call is free and clinical. We tell you whether forensic work is the right answer for what you're facing.
How is this different from a generic IT support shop or geek-squad service?
IT shops fix devices and reset passwords. Forensic work is fundamentally different: it documents what happened, identifies who did it (when possible), preserves evidence to court-admissible standards, and produces a written report you can use legally. The training, industry-standard tooling (platforms like Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM, and X-Ways, engaged through our partner network when a matter requires them), and chain-of-custody discipline are all different. If your situation has a legal dimension or you may need to prove what happened, an IT shop will not get you there.
Are you a personal cyber security consultant, or a monitoring service?
A consultant, in the forensic sense. We investigate a specific incident on your own devices and accounts, document what happened to an evidentiary standard, and hand you a report you can act on, not a subscription that passively watches a breach database. Every engagement is scoped and reviewed personally by Quinn, the named examiner, rather than routed through a support queue. If a monitoring product or a larger firm is the better fit for what you are facing, we tell you on the free first call instead of taking the engagement.
How urgent is my situation? Can you handle same-day work?
Phone consultation is available same-day for active situations such as credible immediate threats, ongoing account compromise, ransomware on a small business, and abuse situations where evidence is at risk. Field work and forensic imaging is scheduled within 24-48 hours for urgent cases, with court-deadline-driven cases getting priority. After-hours phone calls go to Quinn or one of two senior leads, not an answering service. We do not have a 24/7 SOC for individual clients. The urgency model is human availability rather than automated monitoring.
What does cost typically look like?
You have two ways to work with us. Run the investigation yourself in the SleuthX tool for $995 once. That is lifetime access, with usage metered from a prepaid balance you top up anytime. Or have our team do it for you in a done-for-you device package: $3,000 for one device, $7,000 for three, $12,000 for five, each including the $995 lifetime license. Anything beyond a package, whether more devices or complex multi-device and longstanding cases, is scoped per case at a flat $400/hour, with no multipliers. Sliding-scale pricing is available for survivors of domestic abuse, elder fraud, financial-loss situations, and stalking. That conversation happens on the first call. Pro-bono is available case-by-case for advocate or attorney referrals. The first consultation is free and we don't bill for it.
Will my situation stay confidential?
Yes. Engagements run under written NDA from the first consultation. The practice does not share case details with anyone outside the engagement without written consent. Where the engagement is structured under your attorney's privilege, the work product is also legally protected from discovery. Survivor cases in particular are handled with explicit attention to safety and disclosure boundaries.
What if I'm not sure what kind of help I need?
Call. The first consultation is free, takes 30-60 minutes, and is a clinical conversation about facts: what happened, what concerns you, what you've tried. If we determine simpler steps would resolve your situation (police report, IC3 filing, platform-native account recovery, attorney consultation), we'll tell you and decline the engagement rather than upselling. If forensic work is the right answer, we'll tell you what would be involved before any commitment.
