Bug Sweep & TSCM Referral

Need a bug sweep or TSCM? We refer to a licensed Florida PI specialist.

Need a bug sweep or TSCM service? We coordinate referrals to a licensed Florida PI who clears the physical RF environment; we clear the digital surface.

Bug sweeps are a licensed-PI service. We refer.

We do not perform private investigation field work in Florida.

When a matter requires a TSCM sweep of a physical environment, we coordinate with a licensed Florida private investigator in our network who specializes in technical surveillance counter-measures.

They run the sweep under their license, with calibrated equipment, and produce a written report.

Quinn coordinates the introduction; we run the digital companion sweep on devices and accounts under our own work.

The pairing is the point.

Most surveillance scenarios are both physical and digital.

The partner clears the room and the vehicle.

We clear the phone and the accounts.

Together you have a clean environment, not a half-cleared one.

How the referral works

  1. You contact us. NDA-protected scoping conversation about the trigger and the spaces involved.
  2. We scope the matter. Residential, corporate, executive, vehicle. Square footage and access constraints.
  3. We introduce you to the right licensed FL PI. A partner with TSCM-specific equipment and casework history, not a generalist.
  4. Both engagements run. The partner sweeps the physical environment under their license. We run a stalkerware and account-access sweep on the connected devices under our engagement.

What we do, what the partner does

Who this is for

High-net-worth principals after a trigger event.

Family offices running periodic sweeps on principal residences and offices.

Executive teams ahead of sensitive board meetings, M&A discussions, or regulatory matters.

Domestic-violence and stalking matters where the survivor needs both a physical and digital clearance.

Litigation parties who suspect surveillance during a hostile matter.

If a current or former partner may be behind the surveillance, your safety comes first.

For confidential, ad-tracking-free help, and guidance on using a device the other person cannot see, start at domestic-violence help or stalkerware help before booking a sweep.

Why a referral, not direct delivery

TSCM is its own discipline with its own equipment, calibration, and licensing requirements.

The partners we refer to do TSCM as a primary line of work, not as an add-on.

We focus on the digital surface, where our forensics practice is built.

Each side does what it does.

What a bug sweep costs

PI-partner sweep rates are set by the partner.

Residential TSCM sweeps in Florida typically run from twenty-five hundred to seventy-five hundred dollars depending on square footage, vehicle count, and depth; corporate and executive sweeps with recurring cadence are scoped per matter, with a written estimate before the retainer.

We do not mark up partner fees.

The SleuthX digital sweep is examiner-delivered, under our own engagement letter.

We clear the phones, laptops, accounts, and the home or office network for stalkerware and account takeover: a $5,000 refundable engagement retainer opens the matter, done-for-you work runs from $3,000, and $400/hr flat covers anything beyond.

Plain terms

What we are, and what we are not

What we are

A digital forensics practice with an AI investigator at the center. Credentialed examiners, documented chain of custody, explainable findings you can verify, and court-admissible reports under FRE 901/902. When field work is needed — backgrounds, locates, physical surveillance — we coordinate with licensed private investigators. Lawful, confidential, on your side.

What we are not

Spyware, stalkerware, or a way to secretly monitor another person. We do not “hack back,” promise guaranteed money recovery, or touch any account or device without its owner's lawful authorization. We decline engagements that ask us to.

Frequently asked about bug sweep and TSCM referrals

What is TSCM?
TSCM stands for Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures. It is the discipline of detecting and locating covert listening devices, hidden cameras, GPS trackers, and other surveillance hardware in a physical space. The licensed PI partner runs a TSCM sweep with calibrated RF spectrum analysis, non-linear junction detection, thermal imaging, and physical inspection of the space. The deliverable is a written report on what was found, what was tested, and the residual risk profile.
How is this different from a smart-home audit or a stalkerware sweep on a phone?
TSCM clears the physical RF environment, the room, the office, the vehicle. A stalkerware sweep clears the digital surface, the phone, the laptop, the cloud accounts. Most surveillance scenarios involve both. The partner runs the physical sweep; we run the digital sweep on devices and accounts under our own work. Together you get a clean physical environment and a clean digital one.
What are the signs I might actually be bugged?
Reliable signs are rarer than the internet implies, but they include: private conversations being repeated back by people who could not have heard them, devices and lights behaving in unusual ways consistently, finding objects in your space you do not recognize, an estranged spouse who knows things they should not. Most fears turn out to be false alarms. The partner will tell you, candidly, before any sweep, whether the indicators justify a TSCM engagement.
Residential or corporate, what is the difference in scope?
Residential sweeps focus on living spaces, primary vehicles, frequently used offices, and the personal-device perimeter. Corporate sweeps cover boardrooms, executive offices, communications infrastructure rooms, vehicles in regular executive use, and sometimes the executive's residence. Corporate engagements often include scheduled re-sweep cadence; residential engagements are more often a one-time clearance unless the threat profile justifies recurring work.
How often should we sweep?
Most residential matters are one-time, run at a moment of suspected exposure or after a trigger event like a divorce filing, a stalking incident, or a hostile departure. Corporate environments with active competitive or regulatory pressure are often swept on a quarterly or pre-board-meeting cadence. The partner makes a recommendation based on what they find on the first sweep and the threat profile they hear from you.
What does it cost?
Pricing is set by the licensed PI partner. A residential single-property TSCM sweep in Florida typically runs from twenty-five hundred to seventy-five hundred dollars depending on square footage, vehicle count, and depth of inspection. Executive office and boardroom sweeps with recurring cadence are scoped per matter. The partner provides a written estimate before the retainer. We do not mark up partner fees.
