We do not perform private investigation field work in Florida. When a matter requires skip tracing or person-locate work, we coordinate with a licensed Florida private investigator in our network. The licensed skip tracer runs the trace under their license, with access to investigator-only databases, and produces a verified locate report. Quinn coordinates the introduction; the licensed PI handles the case directly with you.
Lawful purpose first
We coordinate locate work for one reason, a documented and lawful purpose such as service of process, collections, judgment enforcement, real-estate title and heir search, or attorney-directed litigation.
We do not help locate an ex, a former partner, or anyone who has gone quiet to stay safe.
The licensed partner screens every request before accepting it, and on any sign that a trace is meant to harass, stalk, or reach someone hiding from harm, we decline and point the requester to law enforcement or a domestic-violence resource instead.
How the referral works
- You contact us. Brief scoping call to understand who you need to locate, why, and the timeline.
- We scope the matter. Collections, real estate, family law, civil litigation, or personal locate. Each one routes to a partner with that specialty.
- We introduce you to the right licensed FL PI.
- The partner engages you directly. They run the trace under their license and deliver a verified locate report.
What we do, what the partner does
- SleuthX (Quinn): consultation, scoping, partner introduction, and any digital forensics companion work, including OSINT on the subject's online footprint, identity-theft investigation when the trace is tied to compromised credentials, and account compromise recovery when the subject is using your accounts after disappearing.
- Licensed PI partner: investigator-database research, court-records pulls, vehicle and utility verification, employment trace, field confirmation when needed, and the formal locate report under their license. Court testimony on the locate work when the matter goes to litigation.
Sub-niche referral lanes
- Collections and debt-recovery skip trace: volume traces for creditors, collection agencies, and judgment-enforcement counsel.
- Asset location and judgment recovery: locating real property, vehicles, and business interests to support enforcement of a judgment or a documented debt, purpose-certified and never a fishing expedition into private financial accounts.
- Real estate skip trace: investor and wholesaler lists for off-market deal sourcing. Typically priced per-record at scale.
- Locate person for legal matter: service-of-process trace, litigation subject locate, witness locate, deadbeat-parent locate.
- Personal locate: lost relative, estranged family member, biological parent or child locate. The partner screens every personal-locate request for a lawful purpose before accepting it, and declines any trace whose aim is to harass, stalk, or reach someone who does not want to be found.
Why a referral, not direct delivery
Skip tracing in Florida operates inside the licensed-PI framework. The investigator-only databases the partner uses are credentialed access only; nobody outside the licensed PI ecosystem gets at them. We coordinate the introduction. The partner does the work.
Every trace the partner runs is tied to a documented, lawful permissible purpose such as collections, litigation, service of process, judgment recovery, fraud investigation, or heir and witness location.
The licensed partner accesses investigator-only and motor-vehicle records strictly within that purpose: no pretexting for financial or customer information, and motor-vehicle data used only for a purpose the Driver's Privacy Protection Act permits.
We coordinate the introduction; the partner certifies the purpose and performs the regulated access under their own license.

What this costs
PI-partner trace rates are set by the partner. Single-subject traces typically start in the low hundreds and scale with verification depth; volume real-estate skip tracing is priced per record; litigation-grade locate work with field confirmation runs higher.
The partner provides a written estimate before the retainer, and we do not mark up partner fees.
Skip tracing is hire-it-out, licensed work, not a self-serve database we resell.
