What this is, and what it is not
This is a coordination service. We do not perform private investigation field work in Florida. When a matter requires licensed PI activity, we coordinate with a licensed Florida private investigator in our network. They deliver the field portion under their license, with their contract and their report. When the matter also has a digital component, we deliver the digital forensics portion under our own work.
Quinn coordinates the introduction. The licensed PI handles the case directly with you. That separation is intentional: it keeps each professional inside their own credential, and it gives you two specialists on a case instead of one generalist trying to do both jobs.
Do you actually need a licensed PI?
Not every matter needs field work. If a police report, a NamUs entry, your bank’s fraud desk, or a platform’s own recovery flow would resolve your situation, we will tell you and point you there first. If the device or the data is your own, the digital side is often something you can handle yourself, and we will show you how. A licensed PI earns the fee when a matter genuinely needs lawful surveillance, locate work, or court-ready field testimony, and we say so plainly, before you spend anything.
How the referral works
- You contact us. Phone, calendar, or email. NDA-protected from the first conversation.
- We scope the matter. Thirty-minute scoping conversation to understand the facts, the goal, and the geography.
- We make the introduction. A warm hand-off to the licensed Florida PI partner whose specialty and calendar fit the matter.
- The partner engages you. Under their license, their contract, and their fee schedule. We stay involved only if there is a digital forensics component we are also handling.
What we do, what the partner does
- SleuthX (Quinn): consultation, scoping, partner introduction, and any digital forensics companion work the matter calls for. Phone forensics, account recovery, OSINT, stalkerware sweeps, expert witness on the digital side. Our digital work is court-admissible to FRE 901 and 902, with a documented chain of custody and explainable, not black-box, AI findings you can verify.
- Licensed PI partner: all field work. Surveillance, in-person interviews, sub rosa, locate work, court-ready PI report, courtroom testimony on the field portion. Under their license, on their paper.
